The Panther tank, in many ways, was considered the most formidable armored vehicle of World War II. Heavily influenced by the Soviet T-34, the PzKpfw V Ausf. G (Type G) was produced by several manufacturers, including MAN, Daimler-Benz, and MNH. Armed with a powerful 7.5cm KwK42 L/70 cannon and two 7.92mm MG34 machine guns, the Panther Ausf. G was the most impressive iteration in the Panther series. Initially planned to weigh 35 tons, the production model weighed 43 tons due to Hitler's insistence on reinforcing the frontal armor, increasing the glacis plate to 80mm and the turret front to 100mm. Once engine and transmission issues were resolved, it became a highly effective fighting vehicle, crewed by five members: driver, radio operator, gunner, loader, and commander.
